Remote teams

Meeting notes for remote and distributed teams.

In a distributed team, most people miss most meetings. If a decision isn’t written down with its reason the same day, the people in other time zones find out a week later, usually by accident.

What it does

What Scripta handles for you

Three jobs that usually fall to whoever took the notes.

The record is the meeting

Summary, decisions with reasons, and tasks with owners, ready for whoever wakes up next.

Transcripts in other languages

Translate a transcript into English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese or Indonesian. Translation works on the transcript after the call; there is no live in-call translation yet.

Comment instead of another call

Teammates comment on the meeting in their own hours, and the thread stays with the record.

Monthly retro, distributed design team

The team agreed that every decision and its reason must be recorded in the meeting notes the same day, with undocumented decisions not counting, and that the call time will rotate monthly so Osaka is not always joining at midnight. Felix Adeyemi will share the new rotating schedule and Aiko Mori will write a one-page guide on handover notes, both to be reviewed at the next retro.

Questions

What people ask first

Can Scripta translate meetings live?

Not yet. It translates a transcript after the meeting. Live, in-call translation is not built.

Does a bot join our calls?

No. Nothing of Scripta’s joins your call. You record from your browser, or bring the transcript your call tool or recorder already makes.

Which languages can transcripts be translated into?

English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (simplified and traditional) and Indonesian.

Can people who missed the call ask questions?

Yes. They can comment on the meeting, or ask Sofia what was decided.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The free plan needs no card and includes AI write-ups and recording minutes every month. Paid plans add more of both, and seats for a team.
